Formed in Istanbul in 2004, 123 (bir, iki, üc or one, two, three) have built up a strong local following. Considered as one of the most interesting new bands in Turkey, we like them a lot for their calm and eclectic hybrid of pop, jazz and electronica, and see them as one of the relatively few Turkish non-folk bands which will play successfully abroad.
